Assault Shuttle
From SOTS
These are short-range vehicles carried into battle by your ships in order to provide dedicated anti–planetary support. An Assault Shuttle whose home ship is destroyed will seek another ship with an open Assault Shuttle Section to dock with and reload. After the end of combat, shuttles and destroyers are paired off again. Excess shuttles are lost and destroyers without shuttles will have their shuttles replaced only after they are repaired.
